Obituary of Donald Ray Wood

Donald Ray Wood, 55, of Hill’s Home for Adults, Chesapeake, VA died Sunday, April 24, 2005 in the Chesapeake General Hospital. He was born in Elizabeth City, NC on June 11, 1949. Mr. Wood was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Annie Alexander Wood. He is survived by a sister, Debra Dodson of Leaham, MD; an aunt, Ruth Markham Betts and husband, Oscar of Elizabeth City; NC, a cousin, Mazie Parker and husband, Edgar of Elizabeth City, NC and his friends and extended family of Hill’s Home for Adults of Chesapeake, VA. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at 11:00am in the Old Hollywood Cemetery, Elizabeth City, NC by Rev. F. Joe Griffith. Twiford Funeral Home, 405 E.
