Obituary of Lillian Warden

EC WARDEN Camden, NC Lillian Rupert Warden Lillian Mae Rupert Warden, 62, of 158 Chantilly Road, Camden, NC, died Thursday, April 28, 2005, in Albemarle Hospital. She was a native of Camden County, daughter of the late Russell Earl Rupert, and Lillian Josselyn Rupert Spruill. She was a graduate of Old Dominion College, and attended COA, and was a third grade school teacher with the Grandy Elementary School System where she taught for 28 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Warden on October 13, 1996. She is survived by one sister, Ruth Ann Burgess and her husband Dempsey D. Burgess of Shiloh, NC; one brother, Russell Earl Rupert of Shiloh, NC, one half sister, Mary Catherine Spruill Reynolds and her husband, Eugene Reynolds of Elizabeth City, NC; special friends, Billie Faye Beavers of Shiloh, NC, and Ann Bechiom of Elizabeth City, NC., and brother-in-law Gordon Warden of Elizabeth City, NC., her nieces Leigh Warden, Jackie Cameron and Janet Bigney, nephews Jeff Warden and Dempsey Warden. A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, May 2, 2005, at 11:00 A. M. at West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery with The Rev. Joseph Klaus, Pastor Emeritus, Outer Banks officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon, May 1, 2005 from 4:30 P. M. to 6:00 P. M. at Twiford Funeral Home, 405 East Church Street.
