EC Barco Mrs. Julia A. Barco Native of Wallaceton, VA Mrs. Julia Anderson Barco, age 94, died Friday, April 29, 2005, at the Masonic/Eastern Star Home in Greensboro, NC. Mrs. Barco, a native of Wallaceton, VA, had lived most of her life in Shiloh, NC. She was the daughter of the late William Berry Anderson and Arkansas Jennings Anderson and the widow of Vincent Wingfield Barco. She was a retired bookkeeper for Globe Fish Company and Acme Television. She was a member of First Christian Church, Past President of the Seth E. Perry American Legion Auxiliary, Past Noble Grand of the Elizabeth City Rebecca Lodge # 62, and a member of the Elizabeth City Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star # 44. Mrs. Barco is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Staples and Ethel Hodges; and two brothers, Charlie Reynolds Anderson and Ernest Anderson. A graveside funeral service will be Tuesday, May 3, 2005, at 1:00 PM in New Hollywood Cemetery with the Rev. F. Joe Griffith officiating. Graveside rites will be rendered by Rebecca Lodge # 62. The family will receive friends at the cemetery at 12:30 prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to the First Christian Church, 701 Parsonage Street, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.
