Obituary of Mildred Albertson

EC Albertson Mildred Twiford Albertson Resident of Elizabeth City, NC Mildred Twiford Albertson, 95, of 1109 East William Circle, Elizabeth City, NC, died Sunday, May 1, 2005 at Albemarle Hospital. She was born in Dare County, daughter of the late John Thomas and Martha Midgett Twiford, and was the widow of Curtis B. Albertson. She was a member of City Road United Methodist Church. Mrs. Albertson is survived by a son, Curtis D. Albertson and wife Connie of Elizabeth City, NC; a sister, Mamie T. Hill of Elizabeth City, NC; two granddaughters, Signe and Jo Brent; and two step grandchildren, Jennifer and B.J.. Besides her husband and parents, Mrs. Albertson is preceded in death by two brothers, Talmadge and Lloyd Twiford. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at 2:00 pm in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Charles McKenzie officiating. Burial will be in New Hollywood Cemetery. Following the service the family will receive friends in the lobby of the funeral home and at other times at the residence, 1109 East William Circle, Elizabeth City, NC.
