Obituary of Flora Caroon

Manteo, NC Flora Winslow Caroon, 94, a lifelong resident of Poplar Branch, NC died Monday, May 9, 2005 in Manteo, NC. Born in Dare County, NC, she was the widow of Thomas R. Caroon, a homemaker, a member of Sharon United Methodist Church, and a member of Coinjock Chapter #218 Order of Eastern Star. Mrs. Caroon is survived by two sons, Joseph Caroon of Coinjock, NC and Tommy Caroon of Manteo, NC; four grandchildren, Josannah Wilaby, Philip Caroon, Joshua Caroon, and Steven Caroon; five great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at 3:00 PM at Hampton Cemetery, Waterlily by the Rev. Steve Castle. Eastern Star Rites will be rendered by Coinjock Chapter #218 Order of Eastern Star. Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo, NC is in charge of arrangements.
