Obituary of Tiffney M. Lee

Tiffney Meiggs Lee, 57, of 1247 Salem Church Road, Elizabeth City, NC died Tuesday, May 10, 2005. She was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina and was the daughter of Lem S. and Mary Midgett Meiggs of Elizabeth City. Mrs. Lee was a graduate of Central High School, Elizabeth City, East Carolina University, Greenville, College of the Albemarle School of Nursing, Elizabeth City and a member of Riverside Baptist Church. She was a registered nurse for the Department of Corrections. She was a loving daughter, wife and mother. Besides her parents, Mrs. Lee is survived by her husband, Chris Lee of the home, two daughters, Jamie J. Hanna and husband, Jeff, of Greenville, NC and Hillary M. Jones and husband, Travis, of Durham, NC; one step son, Scott Lee of Morehead City, NC; two sisters, Bonnie M. Campbell of Greenville, NC and Beth M. Grubbs of Atlanta, GA; one brother, David Bertran Meiggs of Wilmington, NC and one grandson, Sawyer H. Hanna of Greenville, NC. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 13, 2005, at 2:00pm in the Riverside Baptist Church by Revs. Glenn D. Greenway and John B. Jones. Following the church service the family will remain at the church to greet friends and relatives. Entombment will be in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends at Twiford Funeral Home, 405 E. Church St., Elizabeth City Thursday evening from 7:00 until 8:30pm and at other times at the residence of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lem S. Meiggs, 108 Quail Run, Elizabeth City, NC.
