Obituary of Clifton Midgett

Rodanthe, NC Clifton Boyd Midgett, 64, died Friday, May 20, 2005 at his residence. Mr. Midgett was born in Rodanthe and worked at Lockheed as an airplane mechanic. He was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Fairhaven United Methodist Church. He was the son of Richard W. ‘Dick’ Midgett of Rodanthe, and the late Lennie Midgett Midgett. He is survived by three sisters: Patricia ‘Pat’ M. Conklin of Navvoo, IL, Cathy M. Satterfield and June M. Midgett, both of Rodanthe; he was preceded in death by a sister, Irita M. Covey, a brother, Richard Aubrey Midgett, Rowan Dean Midgett and baby boy Midgett. A Celebration of Life will be held at Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo, on Monday, May 23, 2005 at 2:00 PM. Burial will take place in the Midgett Family Cemetery in Rodanthe. The family will only be receiving friends at Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo, on Sunday, May 22, 2005 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM due to father’s health. Twiford’s Funeral Home, Manteo, is assisting the family with these arrangements.
