Obituary of Gracie Wood

EC WOOD GRACIE ANN ROEMER WOOD, 31 of Dolton, Illinois, died Saturday June 4, 2005 in Elizabeth City NC. She was a native of Farmington MO, daughter of Virgil and Muriel Bollack Leisure. Besides her parents she is survived by her significant other John Neal; three daughters, Christina Wood and Kelly Wood, both of Trevor, Wisconsin, Sarah Bivens of Manton, Michigan; one son Scottie Tatro of Beach Park, Illinois; four brothers, Henry Roemer of Hertford, NC, Mike Roemer of Pungo, VA, Jimmy Roemer of Cahokia, Illinois, and Phillip Roemer of Wadsworth, Illinois. A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday afternoon June 8, 2005 at 2:00 PM in Twiford’s Northside Chapel, 1115 North Road Street, Elizabeth City, NC by Tim Harris. The family request in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the Gracie A. Wood Memorial Fund, % Muriel Leisure 114 White Oak Hertford, NC 27944. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service and other times at the residence of her parents, 114 White Oak, Hertford, NC.
