Obituary of Donald Carlson

Donald John Carlson, 70, of 128 Summerfield Street, Elizabeth City, NC died Sunday June 5, 2005 at the Albemarle Hospital. Mr. Carlson was born on June 20, 1934, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was the son of the late John and Frances Kronschnable Carlson. He was a retired auto cad operator, member of the Crystal Cathedral and served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife; Cleo Janniece Ostwald Carlson, one son Ronald A. Carlson of Chicago, IL; two daughters Rhonda C. Meler and her husband Kenneth of Virginia Beach, VA and Rebecca C. Hughes of Madrid, NY; five grandchildren Alexander Meler, Kendra Meler, Meaghan Hughes, Ryan Hughes and Zachary Carlson. A memorial service will be held Thursday June 9, 2005 at 4:30 P. M. at the Twiford Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC. The family will join friends following the memorial service at the funeral home.
