Obituary of Tony Shankle

Tony W. Shankle Chesapeake ‘ Tony Wayne Shankle, 41, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, June 23, 2005. Mr. Shankle was born in Galveston, TX to Ceauthary Shankle and the late Helen Shankle. He was a veteran having served in the US Navy. Mr. Shankle leaves behind, to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Darlene Roberta Shankle; daughters, Sherrie Darcel Larkin and Chante LaToya Larkin; father Ceauthary Shankle; sisters, Evelyn Keel, Marilyn Grant, Cythnia Mills, Patricia Woodley and Carolyn Crockett; brothers, James, Stanley, and Larry Shankle; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Funeral services with full military honors will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at Twiford’s Colonial Chapel, Chesapeake with Rev. Johnny McDonald officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Cemetery in Kennedale, TX.
