Obituary of Wilburn Mikeal

EC MIKEAL Elizabeth City, NC Wilburn Burl Mikeal, age 82, of 106 West Broad Street, Elizabeth City, NC, died Monday, June 27, 2005 in Albemarle Hospital. He was a native of Wilkes, NC, son of the late Ciscero C. Mikeal and Virgie Welch Mikeal, and was the husband of Margaret Alexander Mikeal of the residence. He was a retired Aircraft Mechanic with the US Coast Guard, ARSC and attended Corinth Baptist Church. Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Joyce Meads of Elizabeth City, NC, and Diane Sawyer and her husband Gary of South Mills, NC; four sisters, Fern Watson of Va. Beach, VA, Muriel Church, and Della Mecum both of Winston Salem, NC, and Nell Smith of North Wilkesboro, NC; two brothers, Frank and Bobby Mikeal both of North Wilkesboro, NC; seven grandchildren, Tara Meads of MA, Holly, Lauren, Erin, and Will Meads all of Elizabeth City, NC, Amanda Greico and her husband Chad, and Alan Sawyer both of South Mills, NC, and one great grandchild, Blake Greico. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Bill Mikeal. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at 11:00 AM, in the West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev.
