Obituary of Frank Wilson, Sr.

EC WILSON SOUTH MILLS, NC Frank Ralph Wilson, Sr., 67, of 175 Keeter Barn Road, South Mills, NC, died Friday, July 1, 2005, at the Albemarle Hospital. Born in Cambria County, PA, he was the son of Emma Ewel Wilson of Ft. Myers, FL, and the late Clifford Wilson, and was the widower of Barbara Ann Midderhoff Wilson. He was retired from the U.S. Navy, and an iron and steel worker for over twenty years. He was a Methodist. Besides his mother, Mr. Wilson is survived by: two daughters, Marnie Roberts of South Mills, NC and Rhonda Michelle of Winter Haven, FL; two sons Thomas Henry Wilson of South Mills, NC and Frank R. Wilson II of Elizabeth City, NC; two sisters Mary Evans of Florida and Delores Dixon of Maryland; one brother Robert Wilson of Johnstown, PA; seven grandchildren; and companion Lillian Frances Collins. A funeral service will be conducted with Military Honors on Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 5 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. At other times the family will be at the residence.
