Obituary of Edgar White

EC WHITE Elizabeth City, NC Edgar Milton White, Jr., 84, of #1 Ridgefield Drive, Elizabeth City, NC, died Saturday, July 2, 2005, in Winslow Memorial Nursing Home. He was a native of Edenton, NC, son of the late Edgar Milton White, Sr., and Lannie Gurganus White. He served in the US Army during WWII, and was a pipe fitter for 36 years with the Civil Service. Survivors include his wife; Phyllis Tetterton White of the residence. A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 7, 2005, at 10:00 A. M. at the Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. William C. Holmes officiating. Mr. White will be cremated and burial of remains will follow at a later date. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
