Obituary of Elizabeth Cooper

EC Cooper Elizabeth Marie Cooper Resident of Elizabeth City, NC Elizabeth Marie Cooper, 78, of Elizabeth City, NC, died Monday, July 4, 2005 at Winslow Memorial Home. She was born in Pasquotank County, NC; daughter of the late Jarvis Linwood and Queenie Mae White Cooper. Mrs. Cooper was a member of The First Baptist Church in Elizabeth City, NC. Mrs. Cooper is survived by two sisters, Miriam Russell of Elizabeth City, NC, and Veronica Anne Cooper of Richmond, VA; a brother, William A. Cooper of Elizabeth City, NC; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mrs. Cooper is preceded in death by three brothers, Guy L. Cooper, J.D. Cooper, and Jarvis L. Cooper, Jr. A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 7, 2005 at 11:00 am in New Hollywood Cemetery with the Rev. Mason Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence of the sister, Miriam Russell, 119 Bayshore Drive, Elizabeth City, NC.
