Obituary of Ethel Walker

Ethel E. Walker, 83, died Thursday, July 7, 2005 at the Outer Banks Hospital. Mrs. Walker was born in Morganton, NC and was a retired L.P.N. She was the widow of Yates Webb Walker. She is survived by two daughters; Toni K. Lanning and husband Virgil, of Southern Shores and Barbara W. Crowson and husband Revel, of Suffolk, VA; two grandchildren; Linda Crowson of Suffolk and Darrell Pritchard of Kill Devil Hills and one great-granddaughter, Amy Lanning Grandy of Southern Shores. She was preceded in death by one daughter; Linda Faye Walker and one granddaughter, Amy Lynn Pritchard. A Celebration of Life will be held at Twiford’s Colony Chapel on Saturday, July 9, 2005 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Steve Siegrist and Pastor David Daniels officiating. Burial will take place in Caser, NC at the Clover Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Ocean View Baptist Church, P.O. Box 3780, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948, Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo, is assisting the family with these arrangements.
