Obituary of Robert “Bob” Daughety

EC DAUGHETY Grandy, NC Robert ‘Bob’ Daughety, age 66, of 100 Pleasant Point Drive, Grandy, NC, died Thursday, July 21, 2005, at his residence of multiple myeloma cancer. He was a native of Kinston, NC, son of the late Sam L. Daughety and Addie Mae Jones Daughety. He was husband and soul mate of 40 years to Elizabeth Bagby Daughety of the residence. Mr. Daughety was a veteran of the US Navy. He is survived by two sons, Robby and Gary, one daughter, Christine, one step daughter, Tamra, two step sons, Bobby and Sam, six sisters, Betty, Diane, Evon, Glenda, Dusty, and Pee Wee, three brothers, Sammy, Perry, and Larry, thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A graveside service will be Monday, July 25, 2005 at 11:00 AM in Colonial Grove Memorial Park on Princess Anne Road, Va. Beach, VA, with the Rev. Glenn McCraine officiating. The family will receive friends at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC, Sunday evening from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM.
