Obituary of David F. Gaskill

OCRACOKE, NC DAVID FULLER GASKILL, 50, of Ocracoke, NC died Thursday, July 14, 2005 in Chowan County Hospital. Mr. Gaskill, born in Morehead City, NC was Deck Hand for NCDOT, Ferry Division, and was a member of the Ocracoke United Methodist Church. He was the son of Rena Grace Garrish Gaskill of Ocracoke and the late Thurston Fuller Gaskill. Besides his mother, Mr. Gaskill is survived by a sister, Rena Garrish and husband, Dan of Ocracoke, NC; a niece, Brook Garrish and a nephew, Alex Garrish. A Memorial service will be held at the Ocracoke United Methodist Church on Monday, July 18, 2005 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Joyce Reynolds officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Ocracoke United Methodist Church or the Ocracoke Island Rescue Squad, Ocracoke, NC 27960. Twiford Island Chapel, Hatteras is assisting the family with arrangements.
