Obituary of Helen Hunter

EC HUNTER Elizabeth City, NC Helen Mann Hunter, age 80, of Elizabeth City, NC, died Friday, July 15, 2005 in Guardian Care Nursing Home. She was a native of Manteo, NC, daughter of the late Cecil E. Mann and Emma Pugh Mann. She was wife of the late Arles J. Hunter. Mrs. Hunter was a retired schoolteacher with the Norfolk public school system, and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church of Wanchese, NC. She is survived by one sister, Hilda M. Midgett and her husband Milton of Manns Harbor, NC, and one sister in law, Ruby Mann of Manteo, NC, three nieces and one nephew. She was predeceased by one sister, Pearl M. Lewis, and one brother, Marvin L. Mann. A graveside service will be Sunday, July 17, 2005, at 3:00 PM in New Hollywood Cemetery with the Rev. F. Joe Griffith officiating.
