Obituary of Bernard Thompson

Nags Head, NC Bernard Ivan Thompson, 64, of Au Sable Forks, NY died Saturday, July 23, 2005 in Nags Head, NC. Born in Au Sable Forks, NY, he was the son of Minerva Aubin Thompson of New York and the late William Thompson. He was a retired master carpenter and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Besides his mother, Mr. Thompson is survived by three sons, Glenn James Thompson of Rodanthe, NC, Stephen Lee Thompson of Rodanthe, NC, and Christopher William Thompson of Fayetteville, NC; three sisters, Sandra LaLauz of California,and Marcia Carron and Nancy L’Hommedieu both of New York; and four grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a brother, William Thompson. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo, NC is in charge of arrangements.
