Obituary of Irma Foster

Ocracoke, NC Irma Styron Foster, 88, died Thursday, July 28, 2005 at her residence. Mrs. Foster was born in Ocracoke and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Ocracoke Assembly of God and was the Sunday School Secretary and Treasurer for many years. Mrs. Foster was the daughter of the late William and Iola Midgette Styron and was the widow of Zion J. Foster. She is survived by one nephew, Rhodes I. Styron, one great-nephew, Chris Styron, one great-niece, Darlene Styron Doshier and one great-great-nephew, Floyd Alan Doshier, all of Ocracoke. A celebration of life will be held at the Ocracoke Assembly of God on Sunday, July 31, 2005 at 4:00 PM with Rev. Ronnie Midgett officiating. Burial will take place in the Family Cemetery in Ocracoke. Twiford’s Island Chapel, Hatteras, is assisting the family with these arrangements.
