Obituary of Marie Stagnitta

EC STAGNITTA Marie Adelaide Stagnitta, 90, of 326 Roundtree Drive, Elizabeth City, NC died Friday July 29, 2005 at the Albemarle Hospital. Ms. Stagnitta was born on October 24, 1914, in Italy and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Mule Stagnitta. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Elizabeth, NJ. Ms. Stagnitta was a retired clothing store sales clerk. Survivors include her sisters; Lillian S. Heiselman and her husband George of Elizabeth City, NC, Concetta S. Lafaman and her husband Thomas of Princeton, NJ, Gloria S. Bianco and her husband Joseph of Babylon, Long Island, NY and Estelle S. McPartland of Statesville, NC, her brothers; Alfred Stagnitta of Arizona and Joseph Stagnitta of Winter Haven, FL. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon at Twiford Funeral Home, 405 East Church Street, from 5:00 P. M. to 6:00 P. M. and other times at the home. A funeral graveside service will be held Monday August 1, 2005, at the New Hollywood Cemetery at 10:00 A.M. with The Very Rev. James Buchholz, V. F. officiating.
