Obituary of Melvin Hewitt

MELVIN DEAN HEWITT Camden County native Melvin Dean Hewitt, 66, of 211 South Mills Road, Moyock, NC died Wednesday in the Albemarle Hospital. He was born in South Mills, NC, to the late Kenneth and Louise Stallings Hewitt. Mr. Hewitt was a retired steel worker. He is survived by four sisters, Peggy Kight of Chesapeake, Va., Faye Hylton of Suffolk, VA, Kathleen Riggs of Camden, NC and Ann Bigbie of South Mills; NC; three brothers, Lankford Hewitt, Lindsey Hewitt both of South Mills, NC and Winky Hewitt of Corapeake, VA. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, August 13, 2005, at 11:00am in the West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Rev. Frank Thigpen. Twiford Funeral Home, 405 E.
