Debra, I just saw this obituary notice for your son. I am so sorry, and please accept my very belated condolences. You and I knew each other when we were children, and our fathers were stationed at the then-Coast Guard Training Station in Groton, CT. I am the same age as your sister, Nancy. I saw your mom five years ago at my father’s memorial service in January 2005. I also spoke with her in early May 2005, when my mother died.
