Obituary of Gertrude Ronald

Gertrude Albrecht Ronald Resident of Dare County, NC Gertrude Albrecht Ronald, 91, 112 Bradford Lane, Manteo, NC, died Friday, September 2, 2005 at Chesapeake General Hospital. She was born in Aurora, IL, daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Choinski Albrecht and the widow of Edward H. Ronald. Mrs. Ronald was a member of Cann Memorial Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Ronald is survived by a daughter, Ellen Hanusik Pekrun and husband Kenneth of Manteo, NC; a sister, Helen Lord of Noblesville, IN; a brother, Rudolph Albright of Aurora, IL; six grandchildren, Joseph Hanusik, Edward Hanusik and wife Donna, Laura McDaniels and husband Mark, Matthew Hanusik, Randi Walker and husband Scott, and Kenny Pekrun and wife Pam; and a great granddaughter, Melissa Pekrun. A funeral service will be held Sunday, September 4, 2005 at 3:30 pm in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Cribb officiating. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home from 2:30 pm until funeral time.
