Obituary of Wilhelmina Adams

WILHELMINA COPPERSMITH ADAMS Native of Shiloh, NC Wilhelmina Coppersmith Adams, 94 of West Ehringhaus St., Elizabeth City died Thursday morning, September 15, 2005, in the Winslow Memorial Home. She was born in Shiloh, NC to the late George Washington and Helen Elaine Stevens Coppersmith and was the widow of the late Charles M. Adams. Mrs. Adams was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by a daughter, Anne A. Owens of Elizabeth City, NC; six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild. Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by a son, Charles M. Adams, Jr. Graveside services will be held Saturday, 17, 2005 at 1:00pm in the West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. David Turner officiating. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Anne A. Owens, 211 Small Drive, Elizabeth City, NC. Twiford Funeral Home, 405 E. Church St., Elizabeth City, NC is assisting the Adams family.
