Obituary of Diane Via

EC VIA Moyock, NC Diane Cummings Via, 57, of 110 Trevor Way, Moyock, NC, died Thursday, September 29, 2005 at her residence. She was a native of Bronx, NY, and the daughter of Maryanne Bachman Cummings, and the late William Rody Cummings. She was preceded in death by her husband Everett Eugene Via. She was employed with the Military Sealift Command as Purser. Survivors include her mother; Maryanne Bachman Cummings of Virginia Beach, VA. one daughter, Stacy Mead and her husband Kenneth of Moyock, NC; one son William Rogers and his wife Tara of Knoxville, TN; two sisters, Laurie Nappi and Alice Cummings both of Va. Beach, VA; one brother, John Cummings of Kings George, VA; six grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P. M. Sunday October 2, 2005, at the Navy Chapel Naval Station Norfolk with Navy Chaplin Randall Russell, LCDR, USN, CHC officiating.
