Obituary of Margaret M. McConnin

Margaret Eleanor McCormack McConnin, 82, of 218 Ainsley Road, Hertford, NC, died Thursday, September 29, 2005 in Pitt County Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Brookyn, NY, daughter of the late James McCormack and Mae O’Shannacy McCormack. She was wife of the late William McConnin. She was a retired office manager for an insurance company, and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She is survived by: one daughter Kathleen McConnin of Hertford, NC; one son the Rev. Robert McConnin of Jamaica, NY; one sister, Dorothy Hall and her husband Jack of Ledgewood, NJ; and one grandchild. A visitation will be held Monday, October 3, 2005, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel. A Mass of Resurrection will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2005, at 9:00 AM in the Holy Family Catholic Church with The Very Rev. James Buchholz, V.F. officiating. A visitation will be held Wednesday from 2:00 P. M. to 4:00 P. M. and 7:00 P. M. to 9:00 P. M. at the Arlington, Benson, Dowd Funeral Home 83-15 Parsons Blvd., Jamaica, New York. A funeral mass will be held Thursday at 9:30 A. M. at St. Nicholas of Tolentine. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
