Obituary of Lloyd G. Spruill

Lloyd Gene Spruill, 67, 106 South McMorrine St., Apt.8-8, Elizabeth City, NC, died October 1, 2005 at Albemarle Hospital. He was born in Pasquotank County, NC, son of the late Lonnie and Edna Mae Spruill and the widower of Mary McClenney Spruill. Mr. Spruill is survived by two sons, Lloyd Hayward Spruill of Edenton, NC, and Lonnie Ray Spruill of Marion, SC; a sister, Ruby Jenkins of Riceville, TN; two brothers, Joseph Spruill of Greensboro, NC, and David Spruill of Elizabeth City, NC, and seven grandchildren. Besides his wife and parents, Mr. Spruill is preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene Spruill Mumper, a son, Steven Lee Spruill, and a sister, Barbara Mallet. A private family burial will take place Monday, October 3, 2005 at 3:00 pm in West Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the residence of the brother, David Spruill, 1168 Four Folks Road, Elizabeth City, NC.
