Obituary of Mary Farrow Clark

CLARK Manteo, NC Mary Farrow Clark, 78, died Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at Britthaven Nursing Home in Nags Head. Mrs. Clark was born in Buxton and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mount Olivet United Methodist Church. Mrs. Clark was the daughter of the late Everton Hayes and Frances Farrow Farrow and the widow of Glenn Gray and Lawrence Clark. She is survived by three daughters, Verna Clark of Manteo, Deborah Reynolds of Greenville, NC and Helen Johnson of Knightdale, NC; two sons, Glenn Gray of Swan Quarter and James Clark of Richmond, KY; fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Izetta Austin and Judy Gray, one son, Jerry Gray and one great-granddaughter, Victoria Lynn Jennette. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 16, 2005 at Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo at 3:00 PM with Rev. John LaCount officiating. Burial will be at the Roanoke Island Memorial Gardens, Manteo. The family will receive friends at Twiford’s Funeral Home, Manteo on Saturday, October 15, 2005 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
