Obituary of Josephine Harris

EC HARRIS Josephine Williams Harris, 58, of 568 Crooked Run Road, Elizabeth City, NC died Friday October 14, 2005 at the Albemarle Hospital. She was born July 12, 1947, in Pasquotank County and was the daughter of the late Walter M. Williams, Sr., and Lillie Smith Williams. She was a member of the Newland United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband; J. J. Harris, Jr., one daughter Tracy Hofler and her husband Myron of Sunbury, NC., two sisters; Kay Lane and her husband Preston of Hampton, VA and Margaret Fe Trueblood and her husband George Edward of Newport News, VA. two brothers Walter Marvin Williams, Jr. and his wife Carrola of Long Beach, MS and Douglas Williams and his wife Rose of Elizabeth City, NC, two grandchildren Rebecca Leigh Hofler and James Austin Hofler. She was preceded in death by a son Christopher Neal Meads. A funeral service will be held Monday October 17, 2005, at the Twiford Memorial Chapel, at 11:00 A. M. with Rev. Toni Wood and Rev. Alan Gibson. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 P. M. to 7:30 P.M. at the Twiford Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC and other times at the home.
