Obituary of Wayne Lundine

EC LUNDINE Ret. ADR2 Wayne Eugene Lundine, 75, of Grandy, NC died Saturday, October 15, 2005 in Hollywood, FL. He was born August 18, 1930 in Seattle, WA, and was the son of the late Mauritz Lundine and Hazel Woods Lundine. He retired from the U. S. Navy on January 1, 1983, with the rank of Aviation Machinist’s Mate Second Class. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association # 293 and the Coinjock American Legion Post #338. Survivors include his daughter; Teresa Lundine of Hollywood, FL and two grandchildren Kimberly Lundine and Michael Lundine both of Grandy, NC. He was preceded in death by two sons; Wayne Lundine, Jr. and Kirk Lundine. A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 23, 2005 at 3:30 P. M. at the Twiford Memorial Chapel, 405 East church Street, Elizabeth City, NC with Eugene McLawhorn officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the U. S. Navy. Burial will be at a later date in Laurel Memorial Gardens in Poplar Branch, NC. The family will receive following the memorial service in the funeral home lobby.
