Obituary of Nina Walker

Elizabeth City, N.C. Nina Hope Squires Walker, 76, of 1500 Edgewood Drive, died Saturday, October 22, 2005 at her residence. She was born in Belhaven, NC, the daughter of the late Golden and Rhoda Keech Squires and was the widow of Nelson Walker. Mrs. Walker was a bar tender at the Chief Petty Officer’s Association, and a member of the CPOA auxiliary. Mrs. Walker is survived by a daughter, Sharon Hooper and husband Doug of Elizabeth City, NC; a brother, Kenneth Squires and wife Louise of Elizabeth City, NC; and a granddaughter, Nicole Bolinsky and husband Ron. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2005, at 3:30 PM, in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home, and at other times at the home of Doug and Sharon Hooper, 1500 Edgewood Drive, Elizabeth City.
