Obituary of Kenneth R. Webster, Sr.

Mr. Kenneth Russell Webster, Sr., age 79, of 112 Sunny Acres Drive, Elizabeth City, NC, died Thursday, October 27, 2005 at Chowan Hospital. Mr. Webster, a native of Baltimore, MD, was the son of the late Vernon Webster and Erma Edith Brown Webster and the widower of Ruth Louise Kollra Webster. He was a retired US Army Marksman Instructor having served in WW II and the Korean War. Mr. Webster is survived by four daughters, Evelyn Lowman , Barbara Lilly and husband Thomas, Brenda Chrystal and husband Joseph, and Patricia Webster all of Elizabeth City, NC; two sons, Kenneth Webster, Jr., and wife Barbara, and Edward Webster all of Elizabeth city, NC; a brother Gardner Webster and wife Mary Lou of Yuma, AZ; eleven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Gerald Webster; a granddaughter, Christine Schott and her husband David Schott. A graveside memorial service will be Saturday, October 29, 2005, at 2:00 PM in Memory Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Beverly Mercer officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence.
