Obituary of Georgia Caroline Morris

Georgia Caroline Wilhoit Morris, 77, died Sunday, October 30, 2005 at her residence. Mrs. Morris was born in Florence, SC and was a clerical worker. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Ezekiel and Nannie Fiers Wilhoit. She is survived by one son, Monty Berle Morris and his wife Yoko Yamamoto of San Francisco, CA; two sisters, Amorette Turner of Pamplico, SC and Mabel McNair of Hartsville, SC; one brother, Richmond Wilhoit of Florence, SC and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by the following family members; one son, Randall Allen Morris, three sisters, Charleton Sykes, Nannie Edwards and Louise Wilhoit, four brothers, Cecil Wilhoit, E.Q. Wilhoit, Monty Wilhoit and Clarence Wilhoit, Jr. A Celebration of Life will be held at Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo, on Friday, November 4, 2005 at 2:00 PM and at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, VA. on Saturday, November 5, 2005 at 2:00 PM. Burial will take place in Mt. Horeb Cemetery, Franklin, VA. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service at Wright Funeral Home. Twiford’s Funeral Home, Manteo, is assisting the family with these arrangements.
