Obituary of Floyd Ferebee

EC Ferebee Floyd Ferebee Native of Currituck, NC Floyd Ferebee, 82, died Sunday, October 30, 2005 in Franklin, GA. Mr. Ferebee, a native of Currituck County, was the son of the late Mitchell Simmons Ferebee and Mamie Elizabeth Cotter Ferebee. He was a Methodist and a U.S. Army Veteran of WW II. Survivors include two sons, Billy Ferebee, and his wife Nan, of Wedowee, AL, and Johnny Ferebee of Newnan, GA; five sisters, Christine F. Davis of Elizabeth City, NC, and Belle F. Doxey of Moyock, NC, Olive Marsh of Bowers Hill, VA, Elizabeth Simpson of Knotts Island, NC, and Wilma Miller of Williamsburg, VA; one brother Edward Ferebee of Currituck, NC; four grandchildren; and sevengreat grandchildren. A graveside funeral service with military honors will be Thursday, November 3, 2005, at 11:00 AM in the New Hollywood Cemetery with the Rev. T. R. Miller officiating.
