Obituary of Dean Mercier

EC MERCIER Elizabeth City, NC Dean Ivan Mercier, age 59, of Elizabeth City, NC, died Sunday, October 30, 2005, in the Albemarle Hospital. He was a native of Boothbay, ME, and was the son of Ferdinand Chester Mercier and Grace O. Reynolds Mercier. He was a member of the Boiler Makers Union. He is survived by four special friends, Clayton Twine, Scotty Long, Frankie Huggins, and Lambert Basnight. A memorial service will be Friday, November 4, 2005, at 11:00 AM in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC. Burial will be in New Hollywood Cemetery. A visitation will be in the lobby of the funeral home immediately following the service. Twiford’s Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
