Obituary of Allen Ferrell

EC Ferrell Allen O. Ferrell Resident of Hertford, NC Allen O. Ferrell, age 48, of 1160 Chapanoke Road, Hertford, NC, died Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at the Albemarle Hospital. Mr. Ferrell, a native of Pasquotank County, was the son of the late Harvey Ferrell and Hazel Bundy Ferrell and the husband of Pamela Sawyer Ferrell of the residence. He was the owner and operator of Ferrell’s Backhoe Service and a member of Mt. Herman United Methodist Church. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Cara Ann Whitfield of Gates, NC; two sons, Joseph Allen Walker, and wife Jennifer Paige, of Hertford, NC, and Charles Harvey Ferrell of Parksville, NC; a sister, Marie B. Ferrell of Hertford, NC; two brothers, Joe Harvey Ferrell of Hertford, NC, and David Clyde Bundy of Elizabeth city, NC; two granddaughters, Aleah Jenn Walker and Brittney Lynn Walker. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 5, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC, with the Rev. Roland Cooper officiating.
