Obituary of Paul Rebel, Jr.

Paul Vernon Rebel, Jr., 80, died Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at Norfolk General Hospital. Mr. Rebel was born in Conneaut, Ohio and was Regional Sales Manager of Turco Division of Purex. He was a graduate of Hiram College in Hiram, OH earning Chemical Engineering & Mathematics Degrees and was a member of the Rocky River Methodist Church in Rocky River, OH. He was a 32nd Degree Mason of the Golden Gate Lodge #245 AF & AM, a life member of the Lodge Council Chapter Consistory, Scottish Rite, and Al Koran Shriner, Ohio. He was a life member of the Saint Charles Country Club in Saint Charles, IL, the Anvil Club in Illinois, and the Village Beach Club in Nags Head.
He served his country in the South Pacific during WWII in the U.S. Army Ordnance.
He was the son of the late Paul Vernon Rebel, and the late Lorna Petrie Rebel and the husband of Louise Parme Rebel.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Amy Louise Rebel of Delray Beach, FL; his son, Lawrence Paul Rebel of Washington, DC; and his sister, Nancy Mackey of Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Private Masonic Rites will be held at Twiford Colony Chapel, Manteo. A graveside service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at 9:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058-5216.
