Obituary of Margaret Jackson

EC Jackson Margaret Jackson Retired EC Police Officer Mrs. Margaret Virginia Watson Jackson, age 89, of Aftonwood Retirement Coumnnity, Silver Springs, MD, died Monday, November 7, 2005, at Montgomoery Hospice Casey House, Rockville, MD. Mrs. Jackson, a native of Buncomb County, NC, was the daughter of the late Gaston Watson and Fannie Morris Watson and the widow of William Johnson Jackson. She was a member of The First Baptist Church and a retired Policewoman with the Elizabeth City Police Department. Mrs. Jackson is survived by two sons, William J. Jackson, Jr., and wife Abigail, of Laytonsville, MD, and Richard E. Jackson, and wife Thong Bang, of Poquoson, VA; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. A funeral service will be Thursday, November 10, 2005, at 2:00 PM in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City with the Rev. Mason Smith officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM and immediately after the funeral service in the funeral home lobby.
