Obituary of Ernest Sutton

EC Sutton Ernest Wilson Sutton Perquimans County Native Mr. Ernest Wilson Sutton, age 90, of 1871 New Hope Road, Hertford, NC, died Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at the Chowan Hospital. Mr. Sutton, a native of Perquimans County, was the son of the late Charles Edward Sutton, and Laura Small Sutton and the widower of Anna Spivey Sutton. He was a member of Berea Church of Christ, and was a retired Warrant Officer I from the U. S. Marine Corps having served in WW II and Korea. He is survived by a daughter, Carmen White, and husband David, of Kill Devil Hills, NC; two brothers, Lawrence Sutton of Orlando, Fl, and Virgil Sutton, Woodville, NC. A memorial service will be Friday, November 11, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Berea Church of Christ with Minister Sonny Furrow officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends at the residence.
