Obituary of Alvin Bennett

Buxton, NC Alvin Leroy Bennett, 80, died Sunday, November 13, 2005 at his home. Mr. Bennett proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Pacific. He was retired from Reynolds Metal in Chester, Pennsylvania. He was predeceased by his mother, Florence Harris Bennett and his father, Wesley Bennett. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Marie Mitchell Bennett; two brothers, Paul and John Harris of Pennsylvania; three daughters, Helen Adams. Alva May Wright and Theresa Borcello, all of Pennyslvania; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and his precious pets, Baby, Rudy and Budleigh. A private memorial gathering will celebrate his life at a later date. Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Hatteras Island Rescue, P.O.
