Obituary of Jerry Gaster

EC GASTER Elizabeth City, NC Jerry Lee Gaster, 57, of 808 Cedar Street, Elizabeth City, NC died Wednesday November 16, 2005 at the Albemarle Hospital. Mr. Gaster was born on September 3, 1948, in Lee County, Sanford, NC and was the son of the late Martin Gaster and Miriam Savage Gaster. He was former member of the U. S. Army National Guard, and former District Manager with Colonial Sales (Wise Potato Chips). Survivors include his wife; Rita Perry Gaster, daughter Morgan Leigh Gaster of the home, stepsons Danny Ashely and Kevin Ashley both of Edenton, NC and three step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers. A graveside funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 P. M. at the Beaver Hill Cemetery in Edenton, NC with Rev. Mason Smith officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 P. M. to 8:30 P. M. at Twiford Funeral Home, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth, NC, and on Friday at the home of his father and mother-in-law, Lynn and Essie Perry at 114 Eden Street, Edenton, NC.
