Obituary of John Tarrao

John Andrew Tarrao, 58, died Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at Chesapeake General Hospital. Mr. Tarrao was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a retired drywall installer and currently owned and operated a pottery business. He was the son of Frances Sweeney Tarrao of Patchogue, NY and the late John Albert Tarrao and the husband of Susan Lehmann Tarrao of the home. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, David J. Tarrao of Kill Devil Hills and John E. Tarrao and wife Melissa of Philadelphia, PA; five sisters; Mary Tarrao, Sharon Tarrao, Elleene Lange, Jackie Searing, all of New York and Patricia Lange of Pennsylvania; three brothers; Timothy Tarrao, Thomas Tarrao and Michael Tarrao, all of New York. A funeral service will be held at Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo, on Sunday, November 20, 2005 at 3:00 PM with Deacon Don Wobser officiating. The family will receive friends at Twiford’s Funeral Home on Saturday, November 19, 2005 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM and on Sunday at 1:00 PM until the funeral service. Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo, is assisting the family with these arrangements.
