Obituary of Cleo Rountree

Cleo Rose Rountree Resident of Gandy, NC Cleo Rose Rountree, 49, of 120 Dot Sears Road, Grandy, NC, died Saturday, November 26, 2005 at Albemarle Hospital. She was born in Suffolk, VA, the daughter of the late Shirley and Catherine H. Rose and was the widow of John E. Rountree, Sr. Mrs. Rountree is survived by two daughters, Alicia F. Rountree of Norfolk, VA, and Maegan R. Rountree of Winston Salem, NC; a son, John E. Rountree, Jr. of Grandy, NC; a sister, Catherine Owen of Virginia; and two brothers, Herbert Rose and Daniel Rose both of Virginia. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Twiford Funeral Homes, P.O. Drawer 405, Elizabeth City, NC 27907-0405 to help with funeral expenses.
