Obituary of Jean Green

EC GREEN Jean Beasley Green, 74, of 103 Country Club Drive, Elizabeth City, NC died Sunday November 27, 2005, at the Albemarle Hospital. Mrs. Green was born September 23, 1934, in Dare County, and was the daughter of the late Calvin Braxton Beasley and Lola Fay Mann Beasley. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Ralph Green on March 14, 1998. She was a retired medical receptionist, member of the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church and the Elizabeth City Rebecca Lodge #62, and recently was awarded with a honorary membership of Rebecca Lodge, and was Treasurer Emeritus for North Carolina. Survivors include her daughter; Carol Ann Green Jones and her fianc Robert Sullivan of Point Harbor, NC, two grandsons Ronnie Walker Jones of Cape Girardeau, MO., and David Earl Jones of Elizabeth City, NC. A memorial service will be held Wednesday November 30, 2005, at 11:00 A. M. in Twiford Memorial Chapel with Rev. Deloras Meads and Rev. Lloyd Meads. Burial will follow in New Hollywood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at her residence 103 Country Club Drive and following the memorial service in the funeral home lobby.
