Obituary of Melissa Kathleen Beam

Kitty Haw, NC Melissa Kathleen Harrison Beam, 91, of Kitty Hawk, NC, died Monday, November 28, 2005 at her residence. Mrs. Beam was born in Elizabeth City, NC and was a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late Walter Raleigh and Lessie Wright Harrison and was the widow of the late Everett Guy Beam. Mrs. Beam is survived by two daughters, Melissa Beam Towler of Kitty Hawk, NC and Martha Beam Loflin of Charlotte, NC; five grandchildren, David Beam Loflin and Stephen Daniel Loflin, both of Charlotte, NC, John Cotton Towler, Jr. of Kitty Hawk, NC, Grayson R. Towler of Denver, CO and Everett Blake Towler of Woodbridge, VA; three great-grandchildren, Killian Loflin of Charlotte, NC, Hayden Towler and Iris Towler, both of Woodbridge, VA. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
