Obituary of Caleb Ferrell

EC Ferrell Caleb Divers Ferrell, Jr. Resident of Camden County, NC Caleb Divers Ferrell, Jr., 80, of 916 Sandy Hook Road, Shiloh, NC, died Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at Albemarle Hospital. He was born in Pasquotank County, NC, the son of the late Caleb D. Ferrell, Sr. and Daisy Bell Weston Ferrell. Mr. Ferrell was retired from the United States Navy, where he served in WWII, the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a member of Fellowship Independent Baptist Church and the Eureka Lodge #317 of the Masons. Mr. Ferrell is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Peggy and Spencer Lyda of Panama City Beach, FL, Pamela and Charles LeRoux of Newnan, GA, and Paula and Kevin Malinowski of Hampton, VA; two sisters, Helen McHarney of Camden, NC, and Juanita Ralph of Elizabeth City, NC; and five grandchildren, Warren Henderson, Lauren Bollinger, Ellen Crowell, Erin Malinowski, and Hannah Malinowski. Besides his parents, Mr. Ferrell was preceded in death by a son, Caleb D. Ferrell, III, two sisters, Daisy Ferrell and Evelyn Evans, and a brother, M.I. Ferrell. A graveside service with Masonic Rites will be held Friday, December 9, 2005 at 11:00 am in West Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Joey Hobbs officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday evening from 7:00 until 8:00. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 1967, Elizabeth City, NC 27906.
