Obituary of May Wheatley

EC WHEATLEY Currituck, NC May Anna Malin Wheatley, age 79, of 123 Pocahontas Trail, Edenton, NC, died Monday, December 12, 2005, as the result of a house fire in Currituck, NC. She was born in Westwater, Utah, daughter of the late Elwood C. Malin and Lula Lawrence Malin, and was wife of the late Franklin Thomas Wheatley. Mrs. Wheatley is survived by: one son David O’Shaughnessy; one sister, Ila M. Reay of Longview, Washington; her companion, Vernner Roy Davidson; six self adopted daughters: Sandra Whitson, Jeanne Davidson, Linda LaRoche, Sharon Clerkin, Sue Davidson, and Sandy Bailey; and three self adopted sons: Dave Davidson, Jay Davidson, and Joey Davidson. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at 3:00 PM at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Charles McKenzie. A visitation will be held following the service in the lobby of the funeral home. Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC, is in charge of arrangements.
