Obituary of Willie Lee Whitehead

Willie Lee Whitehead, 67, of 719 Halls Creek Road died Wednesday November 9, 2005 at his residence. Mr. Whitehead was born on March 28, 1938 in Perquimans County, and the son of the late Durward W. Whitehead and Margaret Perry Dziedzic. Surviving is his son William Whitehead and his wife Susan of Greensboro, NC and daughter Monica Whitehead of Salisbury, MD., two grandchildren Eric Whitehead and Laura Whitehead. He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Chambers Whitehead. Mr. Whitehead was a carpenter and a member of the Perquimans Inter-County Ruritan Club. A memorial service will be held at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church, Sunday at 2:00 P. M. with Rev. Brad Dunn officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church.
