Obituary of Sarah Bell

Sarah Creekmore Bell, 100, of Shingle Landing Road, Moyock, NC died Thursday, November 24 at her residence. She was born June 30, 1916, the second of six children, to Thomas Edward Creekmore and Edna Powell Creekmore. She was a homemaker and a life-long resident of Moyock. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, and friend who will be missed by us all. "Bless her heart.” She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of sixty-three years, J. M. "Don" Bell; three sisters, Edna Newbern, Mary Elliott, Dorothy West; and one brother, Thomas E. Creekmore, Jr. She is survived by one sister, Christine Breiner of Fayetteville, GA and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and their families. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 28, 2016 at Moyock Memorial Cemetery officiated by Rodney Sawyer. Memorial donations may be made to one's favorite charity.
